BentoSMS was born from a simple frustration — school operations that took days when they should take minutes.
Nigerian schools run on paper registers, Excel spreadsheets, and WhatsApp groups. Attendance is tracked in exercise books. Results are handwritten on report cards. Fee records live in one person's head. When that person is absent, the system breaks down.
We saw this — not from the outside, but as people who went through it. Students waiting days for results that should be instant. Parents with no visibility into their children's education. Teachers drowning in administrative work instead of teaching.
